The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 is a federal Act designed to bring all students up to the proficient level on state tests by the 2013-14 school year (or earlier, if possible), and to hold states and schools more accountable for this proficiency. NCLB requires states to measure “Adequate Yearly Progress” (AYP) for schools receiving Title 1 funds (e.g., for school lunch programs). If the AYP is deemed to be unsatisfactory after a specified number of years, these schools must offer free tutoring services as an option to eligible students.

Curriculum includes 500+ lesson modules for grades K-12:
Before tutoring begins, an Academic Assessment Test (AAT) will measure the student’s understanding of the subject matter and determine his/her strengths and weaknesses.
An individualized learning plan, based on the AAT, will maximize the effectiveness of the tutoring and help avoid wasted time and effort.
Progress Reports for each student will be provided to parents and academic coaches on a regular basis, to monitor progress.
