Ivy League Tutor is an accredited provider of online tutoring services for eligible public school students in grades K-12 who can benefit from customized, interactive tutoring in Math, English, Reading or Science.
Like any such program, Ivy League tutoring is not intended as a substitute for regular classroom learning. Instead, it’s an individually customized supplement, providing students with much greater personal attention than is possible in a crowded classroom, and making it possible for their specific problems regarding the subject matter to be addressed promptly and efficiently.
Our approach is simple and effective: We provide individual attention for each student, by highly trained and qualified tutors who know how to match each student with a customized learning program. |

Unlike classroom programs, where “one size fits all,” our A+Study courseware incorporates both a standards-based approach and a self-paced approach to effective learning. First, students are given assessment tests, to determine the most appropriate lesson plan for their individual needs. Then the software is delivered in a consistent computer format, so that students need learn and use only one, user-friendly interface. Also, at any time, they can view their own progress.
A+Study uses the proven-successful four-step approach:
- Study Guide
- Practice Test
- Mastery Test
- Essay
First, the concept of the subject is introduced and fully explained, using examples to reinforce understanding. Next, an ungraded practice test is taken, followed by a graded mastery text. Finally, students write an essay that shows how well they now understand the subject matter. The curriculum is assessable at any time of the day. |
